Artist Series

I really enjoyed watching this series of artists.

The artists: Paula Scher, David Carson, Mark Romanek, James Victore and Lawrence Weiner showcased their work and explained how much effort goes into the projects that they create. It was cool to see how the artists  talked about creating anything they wanted to and not caring what others think of it.

Milton Glaser was fascinating to me. I couldn’t believe how many rough draft pieces he makes before his final draft.  That showed me his passion and dedication to his work.

Milton Glaser is an older artist.  I enjoyed watching him.  The video showed us how he looked back at his life of art and is still currently pleased with his pieces of art.

I’m glad you assigned these artists for us to learn about this week. I was unfamiliar with them and enjoyed learning about their lives.
